Hello All,

My 390 MY uses a PVC grey water system that drains into a sump.

The sump seems to simply have a hole cut in the side that the PVC main drain line comes through. The only seal seems to be some material packed into a cone on either side of the PVC "sealing" it to the HDPE sump.

Obviously this seal has failed but I'm unsure how to replace it. Something like a uniseal would be ideal, but I'm worried the hole on the sump is too large and that once I get it all apart I wont have a way to put it back together.

Has anyone come across this before? Have they got any suggestions?

The sump usually will have a factory installed tube extending out of the tank (actually several tubes) that you connect your flexible pipe to. I can't picture the hole in the side you are referring to. I replaced both of mine a couple of years ago and added a crossover between them.

Here's photos of the inside and outside of the sump so you know what I'm dealing with.

At this point I think I'm going to get a 1 1/2" uniseal and hope the factory hole isn't too big, if it is I'll be doing this end of season so lots of time to sort a repair...

Any ideas?
