I am looking for some help, please.
I have a 1994 Sundancer 370 DA. It has a pair of Penta KAMD 42 diesels.
The shaft seals are leaking. Not to badly that my pumps are not able to cope, but I clearly have to replace both Port and Starboard seals.
The problem is that the boat is in Spain and I am in AZ. so I am relying on technicians over there.
Can someone tell me how to get to the seals on this particular boat configeration? I have been told that any small mechanic can squeeze down into the bilge and change them out but Also I have been told that the gear boxes or even the engines, or at least one of them, have to come out. Surely Sea Ray did not create such a design that in order to change out the seals one has to pull out a gearbox and or engine?!?
That would surely be catastrophic if one was at sea and one of the seals really broke loose.
Again, any help would be much appreciated.

It's a V-Drive configuration which puts the shaft seal under the engine. In the 370's I have seen with 7.4 gas engines, there appeared to be enough room to squeeze between the engines and reach under to get to the seals. A tight fit and not easy, but seemingly doable. Your diesels might make for a bit less room. Good luck.
