Leaking Boat

Just received a call from my marina telling me my boat is discharging water from the pump every hour. Is this a lot of water for immediate concern as I can not get to the boat till the morning. Any advice.:smt089

Is the A/C (air conditioning) on ? In other words, are they/you sure it's the bilge pump?

If you are sure, I would get in the car and go, myself.

It depends on how much water is coming out like John asked. Do you have the shore power/charger hooked up? Do you have good insurance if it sinks? Could you not get the marina service guy to check it?

Drove down to Dana Point from West Hollywood to find out my bilge was dry. It was the boat next to me. Relief.

I'm glad to hear that *you* don't have the problem :smt038 - If it were me, I'd followup with the dock master. From his perspective he made the call - unfortunately to the wrong person :smt021.

Boat is now in her new home at Marina Del Rey. Much closer to me now. Had a great trip up there.

As I went down to her, thinking I would be hauling her out the water for repair, I left the camera at home. Believe me, I am disappointed, as it was a good trip. Next time!
