LEAK found!!!

So I've been looking for a leak in our 220cc...resealed the plug insert, the speedo cable and transducer thru hull holes...changed the actual plug, added teflon tape to the plug, had the exhaust bellows and water lines replaced. All to no avail...

Today I was taking a close look at all the fittings and petcocks for the winterizing job I plan to do in the next several weeks. That's when I found it, the previous owner...or someone had put an exhaust manifold drain plug into the engine block water jacket drain hole. When I started the boat it started dripping water, $7 dollars later it was fixed.:smt101:grin:

Here you go, this is supposed to be in the exhaust manifold rather than in the engine block...the threads aren't even close!
