Well after about an hour and a half we got her in the water and over to the slip. I new our ramp was only 40' long and in pretty rough shape, so I hired a diver to guide us in. Thankfully I did hire the best diver around. He guided us down the ramp a few feet at a time till she finally floated off the trailer.

This is also the trailer I picked up a couple of years ago for $4,900.00 including a 1990 Mack single axel truck. Best money I ever spent. We have pulled several boat out and even shipped a 50' house boat 100 miles away. Not to mention moving my 500 Sundancer 22 miles to where this video was taken.

I pulled the video footage off our security camera server and add a little music to it. I am not sure why it played the video twice. https://vimeo.com/147285189

Glad you got her in ok.

Reminds me of the time we wet launched our 420DA into Smith Mountain Lake, Va. Only ours took 13.5 hours, the lake level was low, so the ramp wasn't long enough. We had the truck stuck on the ramp, because the back of the trailer was stuck in the mud. Had to hire a smaller tow truck to pull the rig back up the ramp, which had to be winched, because the mud had created a suction on the trailer. Once that was handled, we had to have the local dredge company come a dredge the ramp. Now it was time to try again. Well, the dredger had not gone far enough to let the trailer in far enough to slide the boat off, so truck stuck again, but now to far in for the smaller tow truck, so we had to hire the big kahuna tow monster. Anyway, 10:30 that night we were in.

I know what took so long.....the truck driver kept getting out to watch the fun at the back end of the trailer.

Nice job with the video and music.

I was going to comment on that

Who sings the background song?

That would be the Chris Hawkey Band from here in good 'ol Minnesota (formerly known as Rocket Club). CHB often plays the patio at Fletcher's in the summer and Hawkey is also one of the morning guys on KFAN.

Here's the video -- Hawkey doesn't sing this one.
