The weather here on Long Island has been great also. I have to wait until April 15th before i can put the boat in the water.

That's awesome. Yesterday was a perfect day to launch....sunny, 70's, no wind. I wish I had mine ready to splash.

I don't know if i mentioned it before, but you have a great boat. I'm a real fan of the classics, and the amberjack was one of my favorites.

Thanks Scott. It's a lot of fun and suits our needs very well. We've thought about upgrading and getting something bigger, but we'll never be spending the night on the boat in our current situation and it seems that we would have to go to a 40 ft boat to get the cockpit space that we need and that is a waste on our lake. We will probably end up adding a ski boat to the mix sooner than later. it's simple and convenient and we have replaced just about everything on it. Who needs a new boat!!!???


Tonka- I've been jealous of your profile pic for a while and tried to get one similar. I had a great day. I spent today building an extension on my dock to make up the distance to my canopy after I had to move it to deeper water. This is going to be an interesting summer if we don't get some big rains this spring.

I am still a month out. The season starts May 1st officially, but if they get the docks in I might be in by the last week of April.

Count me in the jealous crowd.. I'm going to start the wax on wax off net week hope to be in by April 7th... BTW you boat looks very nice and to be that ready this early...nice

Awesome! We made it out today as well. Gassed up and went for a short cruise. We "ducked" into a cove to anchor up for a few hours and after about 20 mins we had company-

They keep jumping on and off the swim deck! Kinda cool!!!
