It's been a wild ride, a great year, and a learning experience to say the least.
Looking to splash next Saturday. It's been a busy off-season trying to be better prepared for this year. Plus, I'm outfitting my johnboat at the same time.
Last year, new bottom paint, new thru hull fitting for cooling water intake.
Thus far this year:

-Installed small inverter in Cuddy. (USB ports, 110, and 12v)
-Replace ICA muffler
-Replaced cool fuel filter
-Replaced Starter Solenoid
-Replaced all bulbs with LED's.
-Installed under Arch mounted Blue LED's
-Installed over Arch mounted Dr. LED KevinX4 spreader lights (their awesome!):smt038
-Installed New VHF (S/H 2200) tied into Chartplotter
-Replaced Vacuflush vent filter
-Removed, stored, charged, and reinstalled batteries
-Painted shelving in refridge.
-Cleaned, primed, painted Out Drive and trim tabs
-Installed individually fused terminal block for current and future electrical needs.
-New Zinc's
-New dock lines,
-Mounted new dock box (huge lockable Pelican box)
-Replaced stock Panasonic speakers w/ Polk MM651's
-more, I'm sure....

Awesome! Congratulations!

We launch next Saturday as well! We're really looking forward to starting the new boating season!

This winter flew by.

Looks like you're all ready to go for striper season. It's going to be a great season!

Thanks, and YES I am! If not in 'Mtns. to Sea', then for sure in the jon. I've had very good luck just past my slip !

On another note, as I look for last years VSC paperwork, I came across a "Boarding Receipt" from the once I was boarded.last yr.
Quick back story- New to me boat last year, I had a hired Captain to learn the right way. Prior, boat had been on the hard for 3-4 weeks getting things sorted, and all I knew how to do was CLEAN THE BOAT. and clean..
So, big day here, 1st outing with the boat, and hired Captain.
USCG finds us not 500 yards from the marina (VSC sticker displayed).
They tie up to port. After some small talk he ask me to open the bilge/eng. room hatch for the usual checks.
Upon opening he says, "Captain, that's one clean bilge, even for a new boat."
Thanks, but she's 10 years old, I replied. "Really? Hold tight" I hear, " Hey Joe! Come over here and look at this, this is how a bilge is supposed to look" as he calls a fellow Coastie over to have look-see.
"Well done Captain, have a nice day." And with that, they were off.

VSC completed, de-winterized, wrapping up some minor electrical upgrades, Fired up the beast.
Still have a high oil pressure reading, unsure what to do other than a analog gage to verify.
6 days.

This winter flew by.

We just got a call from the marina saying that they're going to put us in this Thursday, March 30th!

We got launched today. Let the season begin. Will start putting everything back on this weekend.

I was able to spend the weekend on mine at the marina. Getting everything ready for the upcoming season. We had some great, albeit windy weather Saturday and Sunday. Working to get the new fuel pump on the genny and was able to grill some burgers and hang out with friends. It is great to see everything come back to life.
