Any of you replaced your throttle cables yet (on the above boat?)
Did it make a hug difference?
Did you try lubricating the shifter first?

Can you share the size of the cables so don't have to go look it up?

Thanks all!
Jim

This is all I found on these... Type into a search 20 33C Supreme Control Cable. Keep in mind mine is a 88WE inboards.

I replaced throttle / shifter cables on my 89 30' Sundancer. It made a big difference. Buy the top of the line cables not the Merc ones. I don't recall the brand but they are red. Lubricating didn't help. Cables become stretched, grabby. Then the adjustment has too much play. The quality cables have a threaded adjustment lacking on the Merc ones. Getting that cable up to the helm is difficult even with old taped to new.
