We just got back also - 75 degrees and 6" waves - Perfect. (other than the 69 degree water temps) There has 3' - 5' waves for the last 2 weeks and it finally laid down to get out. Hopefully get another run in but you never know around here.

I'm guessing that your water levels are the main concern. We were out Saturday & enjoyed the best weather day in months!

Like I always say "Here in Alabama, we play golf (insert boating) 10 months out of the year. July & August is just too damn hot."

Yep. On Lake Martin you will find rocks where there were no rocks and land where there was none.
That on top of the water temps going down. It's becoming Fishing Boat weather. Not big cruiser weather.
Time to get out the NCII and FISH!!!! YEA!

I never restored it, just made it water worthy. However,,,,,,,,, this winter I am going to be restoring it back to 1968 condition. It has lasted about 4 years but I used cheep stuff on it and 4 seasons of use and being uncovered year around has taken it's total on the patch up job.

The 135 sure pushes it on plane quick enough. Boat looks and operates great even if you did use cheap stuff. BTW you'll need to point out the cheap stuff cause I can't tell the difference in the pictures or videos.
