Lake Saint Clair Peeps

I picked up the 2024 Lake St Clair Guide yesterday.

We actually booked it for that long but it’ll probably just be Friday to Sunday. Depends on work schedules. Saturday is Mardi Gras at the harbor.
We will be at algonac that weekend with a couple Canadian boats and a boat or two from Ohio

With the mild winter the lake seems quite lower then last year, gonna be another tricky year getting into certain areas and many running aground again. Be safe this upcoming season

Nothing to do with the lake but we had a major fire at Groesbeck and 15 mile Road last night. I thought I heard thunder at 9 pm. Looked at my phone. No lightning within 100 miles. It was a constant booming/rumble (I'm over 5 miles away as it turned out). It was a warehouse fire and there were lots of canisters of nitrous oxide and butane, I guess. I could still hear explosions at 10. Anyway, shrapnel thrown a quarter mile away. The fire hasn't been completely put out, 9 hours later. Gotta be a lot of damaged buildings that no one has really been able to see in the dark.

I read one fatality from debris landing on someone a quarter mile away... wow.
