Since half the lake is in SC and I have not gotten any responses in the GA/FL area I thought I need to post it here too.

Looking for info on ramps and places to drop the anchor for the night on Hartwell. Any body going to be out on the lake this coming weekend?

Here is a link to the first post.

I've been to Hartwell but never boated on Hartwell. Sorry your not getting a responce, I know there are folks on that lake. I've seen the boats from the bridges! lol.

Ive never boated on Hartwell, but have been to the marina that is out of Seneca, SC. I think there is a landing that is near there. You can park you'r vehicle at the marina there is a security gate there. You can look at the wb site for parks and rec. in SC and it will show you the landings. If you are not satisfied with you'r findings, let me know. I have a book I can look in. Good luck Nicky

Thanks Mike, come on over I've got to drop Judy and my oldest daughter in Athens, GA Friday for a day with my youngest daughter. I thought maybe I could get a day or so on Hartwell, but not getting any responses. I've heard the lake is pretty full.

Thanks Nicky. I was hopping to put in down around 85 at the state line since it is only about a 30 mile run up 85 from where I'm going to be dropping off the girls.

Chuck, I'd love to check out hartwell with you but, I'm headed to Nicky's house to get some more of that Janet cooking! I'm kidding. lol.
I'm headed to the beach, either Garden City or Lockwood Folly for some fishing. If it isn't RAINING!!!!!!!!!!

Great pics Chuck. I'm impressed. You did this trip on your own! Looks like I'm not the only one then. I boat single up alot of the time. I like the camper canvas add. looks like it works great.

Thanks Mike. Ye Judy and my oldest daughter had a girls weekend in Athens (Youngest daughter goes to UGA). The camper works great. I tried to check out most of the lake. Neat lake I'm surprised there is not more CSR boaters on it. I think I did about 150+- miles and only covered a small part it.

Chuck, You'r pictures look very good. Thanks for posting them.
I've never seen a 24sundeck before. hopefully before the season is over i can get a closer look at you'r boat. Looks like you had a fun trip.
Thanks for pointing out THE UNIVERSTY OF SOUTH CAROLINA (CLEMSON, go TIGERS ) as you passed by. Nicky

Nicky,
I hope so too. Maybe one of these coastal trips will work out. Yes I was going to eat at Clemson Marina across for the stadium, but when I got there the restaurant had gone out of business. I called one of the other and they told me about the Clemson city docks/park. Clemson has built a park with a boardwalk and docks so you can pull and visit the city. Really nice setup for an inland lake. I meant to take some pictures but it was really busy.

Sounds like a good place to stop for awhile. Hopefully while the water is up we will get to check out Hartwell.

loved it! I just got to go out today by myself and I really liked it. I think I would soooo enjoy a little trip like this. I love going around and exploring coves and such.

Thanks for sharing!

Glad you liked them. I think I just scratched the surface. The trip to the end/begin of the Little river was really neat. Way to many coves and not enough time.(Grin)
