Lake Champlain VT Dealer Question

I heard Dunham Bay lost its VT SR dealership (except maybe for Lake George, NY)... true? Marine Plus is in line, soon..? I've got a friend looking at 260s and he's been hugely frustrated.

I forget the details, it was a yr or so ago, but they sold the dealership to New England Powerboats, based out of North Hero now. Rob Svendsen at Newengland Powerboats is the owner. He closed the S. Burlington store and consolidated everything in N. Hero.

I've not been up there since early summer, but will be stopping in soon for winterization.

According to his web site he is not selling new boats. I know he was a sub dealer to Dunham's in Lake George so he had to buy all his boats through them and that there was some friction there. In one case Dunham's quoted me a lower price than they quoted him on the same boat.

I can't say enough good things about Rob though. If you need service and/or storage I highly recommend him.
