KVH M3 DX HD no longer supported by DISH TV?

I had the Dish service turned on today, and after 3 hours of fiddling, threw in the towel and called for technical assistance.

They said this KVH is OBSOLETE. Has anybody else experienced this, and if true will want to know what the options are.

I'm confused, are you saying it doesn't receive HD programming anymore or you don't get any reception at all? And is it only with Dish network or are you inferring that it is Directv too?
My M1 worked fine with Directv (SD not HD) thru the Fall if 2016 until I suspended the service. I haven't fired it up yet this season.

who said that, Dish Network? They dont know how to spell KVH yet alone support it....meaning the checklist support stops after this "is this a resedentional installation?". Call KVH , talk with tech support. Best support I have seen in some time.
 
Had good luck talking to Dish if I requested the RV group. Same technology, asking for boat help did not improve things.

No signal at all with Dish, who told me changes made on their end rendered the M3 DX obsolete.

I'm watching Direct TV on my boat with KVH M3 right now. Yes it works.

I have the M1, which from my interactions with KVH Tech support, is the same technology but in a smaller package.
