My 350 has a Kumma 120v 6 Gallon hot water heater. We have a terrible rotten egg smell coming from the hot water side. Cold water has no odor.

I'm probably going to flush the system with vinegar, but I have a feeling the issue is likely the anode.

I found the replacement part online. It's cheap.

I cannot figure out where on the hot water heater the anode is located. The manufacturer has no manuals on their website. I'm also not certain this model has an anode.

My hot water heater is mounted on the port side and SeaRay covered the top with plywood and my water pump. There's no access to the rear of the unit. I'm guessing everything is on the front based on the manufacturers drawing, but I don't see it.

Any thoughts?

I don't know anything about your anodes, but I've always used bleach to kill the rotten egg smell. Put about 1/2 cup of bleach in your water tank. Run every faucet until you smell bleach. Wait 24 hours, run the tank dry, refill, empty, refill. It works.

That looks a lot like the attwood in my boat. On my attwood, the anode and all of the electrical wiring is located under that metal cover that protrudes from the middle of the front.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking.
