When we bought Plan B at the end of August the Glomex TV antenna on the radar arch was in rough shape. The outer case was cracked and broken although it did still function. My plan was to replace it and figured the boat show was the best place (for us that is the Toronto boat show). I happened by chance on the Glomex stand. John who was manning the stand told me that he could not sell the product - that we had to go through a distributor. When I asked if I would be able to just buy the antenna since mine was broken he asked how it had broken. I told him the truth that I didn't know since it was broken before we go the boat. Then John said that there was a lifetime warranty - no questions asked and told me to cal him after the show was over. I caller a couple of weeks later and he had his assistant take my info. Well, a brand new antenna showed up this week. :smt038

I was totally impressed with this level of support and would recommend them to anyone based on this type of customer service. If only all the companies cared this much for thier customers - I am thinking in particular of my local SR dealers who never return calls about parts etc. They could learn a leason from Glomex.

DAMN! Sounds like my experience with Marinco with some leftover powercords the previous owner left on our boat. They appeared brand new but didn't work. I called them and they said I could ship them in and they would inspect them and replace them if possible. All I risked was shipping. Sure enough they exchanged them with two new 30amp 25 footers! I couldn't believe it. Glad to see some companies still stand behind their products in today's age!

I had the same experience with Glomex as well. Actually went through the distributor IMTRA, but they sent me a new antenna after I sent the old one to them. Pretty cool, wish it worked better but at least it doesn't look like dog crap now.

I have had a very positive experience with Imtra as well when my clutch nut broke on my Windlass. Out of warranty but replaced for free. Great customer service.
