I have a kolher 5 k genny that seems to run fine. however I think it may be running a bit hot. does anyone know what the maifold temp should read?

I haven't shot mine with an IR temp gun but on the gauge in the cabin in runs loaded at 195-197 degrees F, unloaded at 192.

How hot does the water from the exhaust feel? do you have sufficient water flowing from exhaust?

It moves a LOT of water. I have the 5ECD and it really flows. My buddy has a 5Kw in his 2005 320 that moves far less yet it never overheats. Both discharges are hot but not scalding hot.

i just used a temp gauge and found the following. temp at mainfold at the radiator cap is 290 deg. temp at manifold at bleeder plug is 260 deg. temp at heat exchanger is 180 deg and temp at eng block is 190 deg. is this ok
