Kohler not registering oil pressure

I've been having problems with my generator not registering any oil pressure. It has a "low oil shutdown" that currently isn't allowing the engine to run.
I have replaces the oil sensor and verified that there IS oil pressure however it is not registering on the guage. Is this a problem with the computer? Any other thoughts?

Nothing? Any way to bypass the "Low oil pressure" automatic shutdown?

On my Kohler 6.5 CZ, its possible to unplug the oil pressure send unit from the wire harness which drops it out of the shutdown loop.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply, I'll have to look at the wiring diagram to find where it unplugs, but I will definetly try that. Thanks!
