Kohler Generator - 98 290 DA - Model 4ESZ

Looking to find a maintenance/owners manual for the generator on this boat.

From the 98 sales manual it says it should be a Kohler 120 v/60 cycle 4.0kW Gas.

1st time looking at this thing up close and for the life of me can't find any dipstick.

There is a rubber oil tube w/cap going to the oil pan..... but no dipstick.

Found it and I placed it in my document link in my signature.

Now if you can direct me to the idiot who designed this thing so I can smack them up side the head please do.

I guess no one checks their oil level if you need monkey baby arms.

Plus it seems the incredible hulk tightened the dip stick cap.
