Kohler gen: Auxiliary Fault ??

I have a Kohler 5ecd genny and it starts and then stops after 10 seconds and throws an AF code, AUXILIARY FAULT.

Anybody have an idea what that means?

Check the battery voltage (the one connected to the genny.)

Sea water pressure switch generates AF fault code. So that can be broken impeller/water pump or broken pressure switch. The switch is mounted on the heat exchanger pointed downwards towards 7.30am - it can be other things as well connected to the cooling system.

EDIT - ohh almost forgot the unmentioned one.. If your CO detector in the Cabin is not working or disconnected - you can get a AF fault as well. Took me a while to figure that one out....

Just a FYI for future Kohler AF fault finders: Carbo came back and said it was the CO detector in the cabin. The connector had come loose.
