It's a new (year old now) Kohler Advanced Digital Series in a sound box. I had it installed last year.

Had a LOC code repeating with auto shutdown. The water intake was good to the strainer with the boat in the water or with a hose under the hull. Went through everything else and it was clean.
The point of posting, is since I had not taken it off, I removed the 90 deg. elbow off the intake side of the strainer. I wish I had a picture of it, but I found a large flat seed (palm seed) stuck in the middle of the elbow. It was in a direction that water would flow in normally, but when suction was applied, as in starting the gen, from the strainer side it would rotate aprox. 90 deg. and close off the opening.
This was my last straw before throwing the whole thing in the ocean. Hope it helps someone.
