The Kohler 5ECD on my 2008 310 has been running just above 200 hours but won't work properly since this summer. It was shutting down with LOC code frequently. I checked the water flow and temperature and they were all good. I thought it might be the water pressure sensor issue. I jumpped the water sensor and the gen set went back to normal. However, I got the same LOC code again after I replaced a new pressure sensor. The water flows ok at normal temperature. Does my get set has a real LOC problem? Does anyone have the same experience? Where I should investigate further? The service guy has been working on my gen set for 2 weekends but could not find the the real issue. I do need help some help here...

Disconnect the hose from the bottom of the manifold. Start the generator for just a couple min then shut it off so it does not overheat. This will flush the manifold. You may notice pieces of old impeller fingers blocking the water outlet on the manifold. You can also remove the zinc anode to help flush the manifold. Check all your hoses and the small opening in the impeller housing as well. Mine had 4 or 5 pieces in the manifold that were blocking the water flow.
Also, back flush your water supply from the filter to the inlet on the bottom of the boat hull. You can get debris in there as well.
