Kohler 4ESZ Documentation Needed

My 1997 290da has a Kohler 4esz generator. I'm having a hard time finding any documentation about it.

Everything seems to be working properly now but I would like perform the routine maintenance to keep it that way.

What kind and quantity of oil?

Is there an impeller?

What kind of anode?

What kind of spark plugs, and what is the gap?

I see an antifreeze reservoir. Does that need to be changed?

There is a long flexible hose (about 18") that comes from near the oil reservoir and is capped off at the end. Is this to drain the oil?

Help please.

I DO HAVE a manual for the 4ESZ.

Kohler dealers can supply a service kit with most items you need. The answer is yes to all your questions. I also have the service manual for my generator which is a 6.5CZ23. They use the same Honda GX360 engine.

Would you believe neither manual tells you how to change the raw water pump impeller. It is dead easy though, only two screws and the cover plate comes right off. Take note of the impeller direction before chucking the old one. The impeller kit comes with the new impeller and the o ring that fits between cover plate and pump body.
