Koehler 5ECD Generator Impeller Failure...Hunting for the remains

Started my Genny last Sunday and got an LOC error. Figured it must be the impeller after some research here. Opened the pump housing and found impeller was destroyed. I was able to recover 2 of the 6 blades. So I found lots of references to how to flush and back flush from the cooler to recover the rest of the vanes.

Does anyone have a step by step with some pictures to guide me?

Just for closure...removed hose from pump outlet and disconnected hose from cooler outlet. Used a garden hose and nozzle and back flushed from cooler outlet through pump outlet. Took a few times but I got all the pieces.

Installed the new impeller and works like a champ.

Just FYI - on my last boat with a Kohler 5E, impellers only lasted a year, so that was on myu "annual" change list. 5 min job on my 340...
