Spent my morning removing Christmas lights, it was blowing 15 to 20kts, white caps in the marina. I saw a guy on the other covered slips go down to his pontoon boat and fire her up. His motor is running on 3 of 6 cylinders. I went over to say hello and see if I could help, he tells me he's pulling her out today but was worried about making it the 100 yards to his trailer. All around him are 34's and a 40'. I had to advise him not to push his luck, reminding him that when the engine couldn't give him the power he was going to need he would be pushed back into these boats.....and he still had to think about it.
