Kill switch on a quicksilver 3000

So the old kill switch wasn't even connected these bastards. The new one haves a black and yellow wire and black where would I even add them too? The other ones were purple so confusing.

Also my switch haves 2 purple wires this one looks like the one I bought already with a black n black/yellow twisted wire. I was told it's for an outboard engine mine is a I/O aka stern drive

Hmmm. OK, but as I have stated already in your other post that the blacks are outboard (switch closed when tripped) and the purples are I/O (switch opened when tripped). So yes, you are correct.
