Looking to replace a kill switch plug/lanyard for a 2006 SeaRay 220 Sundeck. 5.0L 260HP Mercruiser. Can someone point me to the right one? TIA!

Your local marine retailer will most likely have that on the shelf - it's a common item. Your local Mercruiser dealer will definitely have it.

You can order a replacement from Amazon. The have ones with every kind of clip, so you can choose what you need. Commonly, I/O Mercruisers use one that looks like an open teardrop.

Thanks for sharing. I have the one in your bottom picture, with the closed loop - and the darned closed loop section doesn't allow the switch to stay all the way up in the On position. It's the most frustrating thing, as sometimes it just doesn't start - and inevitably it turns out to be this darned switch. I've gotten to the point of just leaving the orange thing off (which is probably just as well, since I rarely attach it to my person while driving).

But now that I know there's an "open" teardrop shape - like the one in the top of your pic - I can modify mine to work better. Which is very good to know! Thanks for sharing...

Both of his pics are of the same thing - closed loop. It WILL work with your setup - you're probably just not getting it up/insterted as far as you should before clicking the toggle up.
