kill switch/lanyard on 1997 BR175

I recently purchased a 1997 searay BR175. I had a bass boat prior. In looking at the throttle on my searay I didn't see what I was used to seeing for a kill switch so I just assumed it didn't have one. Then I was cleaning out some of the compartments and found a lanyard..so I got to thinking, does this boat have a kill switch that I am not used to seeing? the throttle does have and on/off switch but I see nothing to hook a lanyard to. I am used to using the ones that connect to a half moon or horse shoe shaped piece that attaches to the throttle.

am I crazy? or does this thing have a kill switch?

Flip the little red toggle switch (on/off) down, then hook the red, plastic loop of the lanyard over the toggle switch and push the switch back up.
