You’re lucky.I never felt like they did not want to send them at any point.

Honestly, after 13 months and the time spent on the phone calls I’m starting to get a bit frustrated with them.

FYI I had my Halon system replaced last summer. Wasn't cheap. My problem was I had the system checked in the spring and it failed (even though the pointer was slightly in the green). I could just see it now, I have a fire in the ER and the insurance asks for a copy of the last report!I had two of the small USCG B-I class units, rated 1-A;10-BC white marine extinguishers swapped in the program, and the new ones they sent were white, I think they call the model Mariner 110. They have 2.5lbs of dry chemical. I also have a larger B-II class extinguisher on board, rated 3A;40BC, but it had the metal head already, and wasn't part of the recall. It's a red one, don't know if they make a white version, the model is called a PRO PLUS 5 MP. It has 5.5lbs dry chemical. This reminds me I need to get the automatic engine room system checked over the winter.

$950 for the manual/automatic SeaFire installed on my 280. FYI our marina does charge a slight premium to other marinas. This model has the same functionality as the original so the dash panel and manual release stay the same. It is a larger version by about 25%. Obviously that's for a size appropriate to a 280 ER.Wise move. What did it cost?

Very good observation sir...Hey, I totally get the white thing, they do look better. But let me ask this, when the crap hits the fan, and you need the extinguisher quick, with the added possibility that it might be someone other than yourself looking for it in a crisis, wouldn't you rather it stand out? (Hence the red)
I changed all my white ones to red after I realized the white kind of blends into the background in a big way.
Food for thought anyway.
