On the swim platform of my 270 there is a wood block on the port side rail to hold the outboard for my tender/dinghy. I was wondering if anyone has tried mounting a mount there to lower the motor into the water to be used as a kicker in emergencies or for trolling while fishing. If you have done this I’d be really interested in seeing your setup.
