Keowee SC upstate

Man I wish. Broken exhaust manifold will keep me out this Memorial Day. If I can get it changed in time I'll be there. Where will you be putting in?
 
I'll be at the beach playing golf over Memorial Day weekend Kes. Maybe some of the Carolina Boaters will show up.

Hopefully "we" can all get up a short trip with everyone this summer. Enjoy your holiday, Mike
 
Maybe we can do a mid summer raft up on Keowee or Norman? Never put in on Norman though I know it's a nice lake. I'm looking forward to changing my manifolds about as much a getting poked in the eye. Oh well it's the price of admission for the boater life.

BTW. We put in at Crow Creek Landing. Nice little place that the locals use. We like to stay on island 11 just inside the Crow Creek across from the camp grounds.
 
Thanks Mike and Chris/Marti. Will miss you! Oldskool...won't expect our Carolina Boaters group to gather until our annual Labor Day Keowee raftup and then maybe again in Oct on Jocassee. Will you still be around then?

Yes, we aren't scheduled to move until Jan 1, 2012. I think I will still do the Keowee raft up after 2012 even if I need to trailer down from PA for the week. We love Keowee and will miss it much.

Good. I plan to get to an island early this year so we can all raft up and get off to mingle more like previous years!

Thanks and I may just take you up on it. Yes I sold it last fall. Hated to see her go, but you have to do what you have to do in these interesting times. Still waiting for the Real Estate Market to pick up, after 3+ years without income so to speak I have to cut cost every way I can.
 
Man that sucks Chuck. She was a great boat. Hopefully the market will come back and you'll be out again. In the mean time you are welcome on Old Skool anytime.

Go use our ski boat at Keowee and round up some more "Carolinas" CSR boaters! We saw lots of SeaRays out there that week and the past few weekends, but not on here. Gotta start working on our Labor Day raftup.
