Kentucky Lake to Peoria

I'm bringing my newly purchased 390DA UP from Ky Lake to Peoria the second week of March (weather/ flooding permitted). I've planned a 3 day and a 4 day COA. I have a concern about getting fuel in Cape Girardeau, MO though. Any recommendations, gotchas, go-see's, DON'T DO THIS's or any colorful stories are greatly appreciated. I have the Quimby's Guide, as well as, a few other guides.:smt100

I have heard that there is a dock there and they will bring fuel to you. I am in the middle of pool 26 and you will no problems with fuel in this area and you also have a marina in kimswick (Hoppes) i am sure you knew this though. March 16th is the opening of most of the clubs along pool 26 give a shout if you need anything while in the area.
