Some friends of ours just built a cabin on the Kenai Peninsula and invited us up for some sockeye salmon fishing.
This is our first time this far into Alaska.
We've been doing pretty well, considering my wife is struggling with a rotator cuff problem.
We're so blessed to have friends show us the ropes, and put us up in their cabin.
We went on a charter Monday and caught limits of lingcod, halibut, and rock fish, what a great time we're having.
We have one more day of fishing, just thought I'd share some pics.

Uh....I have a smoker if you'd like to come over. :D

Greg, looks like you two had a great time. I spent 4 years up there in the 70's and spent lots of time on the Kenai Peninsula. Great place to have fun.

OH, and I have a smoker and live a LOT closer to you than Ollie!
