OK, Guys

We had a pile of fun at Middle Bass and EVERYONE asked about doing something again. Well, I just spent the night over at Port-side Marina and was talking to the girls over there and they said they would love to have us give them a try.

I went ahead and reserved 10 Docks for the weekend of the 25th of August. If anyone would like to join us Please let me know...

hmmm I'll have to check with the admiral I can't remember if we are free or not. which one is port side? is that over where the Ferry comes in or is it the one next to the Casino?
 
Yes,the one next to the casino. I didn't want people to have to raft off.

We won't be able to make it that weekend as we are moving the daughter back to college. Hopefully others will. Have a great time!
 
Jason, I'm sure you know this, but you are about ten feet away from disaster in that dock.

The rock between A& B is in the fairway as well as in to one of the slips on A. You more prone to hit that one backing into the slip. The rock I'm talking about is between B and C in the fairway. It is marked with a boat fender but those who don't know, typically end up with new props if the lake is anyhting below summer pool. He is docked one slip south of said rock. From the looks of it Jason is on B dock facing east towards C dock.

Casey, you know where I am don't be a stranger...

Alex is correct. I was in B7 which is next to the rock. No worries got into the dock and never got close to the rock. Not sure why they put me there ? If the winds has been different I would have asked foe another dock.

The seawall at your bow looked closer than at your stern, so I assumed you were on C and looking over at where the wall juts out. my bad.

I wish they would get rid of those hazzards, but the skill of the dockhands has increased dramatically in the past few seasons. Very well-run place now.
 
It's gonna take alot of Dynomite to get rid of those. It's exposed bedrock... If they're not glacial grooves, they definately ammased some rudder grooves over the years...

Sorry to get this tread off topic but unless the perfect 320 falls in my lap between now and then we won't be there

sorry you'll miss Kellys but we will definitely have another Rendezvous next year!
 
We will be there for a week starting tomorrow. I hAve docked there for the past 3 yrs and didn't know of the hazards you guys have mentioned. Thanks for the heads up.
 
Im getting married over at lymann harbor on the 25th. If all goes well i should have some down time around the lunch hour i was thinking about shooting over that way for lunch and a beer.

we're still getting our ducks in a row with work and such. right now it's looking like a yes but I hate to commit without knowing for sure.

We thought several of us from Cedar Point had reservations at Millers for the Key West Weekend at PIB on the 25th. Talked to Rich (dockmaster) Sunday when we were there and he stated he had overbooked us. He's suppose to get back to us so right now it's up in the air for that weekend. I'm guessing he'll find room so it's doubtful
we'll be able to make it to Kelleys. I'm sure you will have a great time. Love the Dockers food at Portside.
