Keep Track of Rising Prices

At a nearby marina as of August 19th, diesel is 2.499 and $4.099 for unleaded. Last I checked it was $4.499 and $4.999 at my home marina.

They don’t get my fuel business.
 
Last I saw it was 4.59 at the local fuel dock. Just paid 3.29 for my wifes car for 89 octane
 
I buy my fuel at Delta Marina in Rio Vista California, $4.09/gal and I get a $.10/gal discount for cash so $3.99/gal. Cheapest price on the delta that I know of. My marina (WB) charges $5+ I think…but I haven’t bought so much as a dollars worth there and have been there going on 2 years.

Personally, I would be fine if the price went to $10/gal…less people on the water and more fun for me and my family. And who knows, maybe people will finally wake up and realize that voting for idiots has consequences.

Red Diesel at the dock is about 4.50/gallon last week anyway. I don’t know if the tax hike exempts off road fuel or not.

Just for yuks I looked into the off road tax exemption for use of diesel in CA. There is a procedure to go through to get a partial refund. They charge the tax at the pump and make you grovel for it to get a refund. They also make it nearly impossible to find the forms you need. At $.27 a gallon though you would need to burn a bunch to make it worth the trouble to seek a refund for a recreational boater anyway.

Are you kidding me…. Put the effort in. When I got speeding tickets and you could go to online traffic school to reduce points … to be rebrainwashed …. I would offer up $50 to the kids to take the test. They enjoyed it…. I got mostly B’s :)
If you have little kids around let them fill out the forms and give them the rebate

Just filled up at Sam's club in Vacaville, Paid $4.19 for Unleaded, Diesel is $4.49. Just sold the Ram 2500 and bought a GMC Canyon Denali. I finally realized that I did not need that big truck and I certainly don't miss feeding it or even parking the monster.

Ha. Just did the opposite. Sold our 17 Expy Platinum and bought a new F350 Lariat 6.7L. The new truck gets 22 mpg avg without even trying hard. Up to 26 mpg. Crazy how efficient these new motors are. Expy? 16 or 17 mpg.
Diesel is $3.45 here right now. Goes up daily. LET'S GO BRANDON!

Paid 3.559 last night. Today regular is 3.95 and diesel is 3.99. Diesel is usually about .50 more around here do seems like regular gasoline is catching up
 
Regular 87 octane at Costco (with the requisite membership card/dues) - $3.63, at least for the moment...

My son texted me this complaining yesterday. He’s 19 and working and going to college.

I doubt he’ll become a Democrat :D
 
Going to fill up tomorrow but we have fuel perks and have about $1.00 off/gallon but will let everyone know how much it was. Went by a Sam's Club station tonight and there was a line of cars longer than I have ever seen there. And Sam's Club had no toilet paper and were out of a bunch of other things too
