just got a 1989 268 sundancer

i just got a 1989 sea ray sundancer 268 as a gift. its in like new condition with only 150 hours on it. i was looking to spend every penny i had on a 2009 larson cabio 290 basically because it was new. i wouldnt even worry about having money available to pay the irs the tax on tha money i would take out of the account thats not supposed to be closed until im 55 im 39 now. what does everyone think about the 1989 sundancer 268 with the 454 bravo 3 drive verses a larson cruiser. :smt043

A 268 with a Bravo III and 454 is nice boat in its own right. For free, it is certainly much better than a Larson 290 you have to pay for.

Incidentally, in 1989 you could get a 268 with a Bravo I, but not a Bravo III. So, if it is a III it has been changed (at least the lower unit has). Any Bravo is a good drive against a 454.
