Just bought a 1987 Sea Ray 230 CC

Just wanted to say Hello, to everyone, I figured you all would be the best to ask any questions about my boat. I need to do a little bit of restoration to my boat and was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction. The boat runs great just needs cosmetic things and I need to figure out what prop is best for a ski/wakeboard/tubing adventure with 4-6 people typically and half tank of fuel. Any tips or ideas would be great, I also need to restore the teak wood,

the guy before me painted the inset on the small door to the cabin, can that be sanded and cleaned, and still look good, or should I paint all?

I need to find a hatch door above cuddy cabin replace glass, and hinge.

I need a latch for the anchor door it keeps flying open>?

I need two new Porthole windows replaced?

other than that just wanted to say thanks for having such a great forum here to chat among other Sea Ray enthusiasts.

Hello, Did you ever find a replacement anchor latch for your boat? I have the same problem.
Also, I just bought some replacement portholes from a guy on ebay with the store name searay13 if you still need those. Mine is an 86, but they look to be the same.

On the painted door, the inset material is a laminate I believe and the trim is teak. If the paint is not too tough you could try striping it and possibly get back to the original, but if it is older or tough paint you may want to just paint the inset a nice off-white and refinish the teak around the edges.
