Looks like it will be a long spring. So much to do and no time to do it.
I will be highlighting repairs to the boat as I get it ready for the water. Any suggestions or comments, please chime in. Heres the to-do list.
1. Core plugs
2. Lower shift cable
3. Gimbal bearing
4. Re-wire trim limit/ sender
5. Exhaust tube
6. Bilge pump and blower
7. Dist conversion
8. fluid change
9. CLEAN!!
So here it is:
Be kind..... Shes a little sensitive about her looks right now.
Just got done doing the core plugs yesterday. Did it with the engine installed. Not fun, but its done. Of course brass plugs were used. I was also advised that a little RTV around the pugs would help with seepage, so that was done also.
I will fill system another day to check for leaks. GF says time to work on the mower. Apparently mowing the yard is more important than boating. Picked up a very nice snapper that one of my customers at work forgot to put oil in..... oops. Minimal damage, just the piston needs replacing.
Till next time.......
