Jet Ski Trailer

Any opinions on Triton Jet Ski Trailers:huh:
I bought a brand new Jet Ski and a double Jet Ski trailer in 2008 with the intention of buying a second Jet Ski further down the line. Well, that was when I was trailering my Chaparral bowrider and Momma was trailering the Jet Ski.
Fast forward 3 years, and still haven't bought the second Jet Ski!

We are still towing the one Jet Ski on a double trailer, I'm trying to get rid of the double "Shorelander Galvenized" trailer, and hopefully can come out "EVEN" on a single aluminum Jet Ski trailer.
I talked to a guy tonight that sells the "Triton" brand and he really talked it up. I'm just trying to see if anyone has had a good / bad experience with "Triton" trailers.
Incidentally, he MIGHT have a buyer for my double trailer this week, so I kind of feel partially obligated to him for this immediate transaction if he actually sells my double trailer for me.

I just bought an '04 Triton Alumnium Single Trailer for my Jet Ski model LT WCI a month or so ago. I like it so far. It is very light and easy to move around. Seems to be well built. I mainly got it to use for an occasional trip to the house for cleaning or other lakes and for storage in the winter. My Jet Ski sits on a PWC port at my marina during the summer.

Just make sure you get the LT WCI or better model. I did some asking around before hand and I was told by several to avoid the entry level LXT trailer. It is shorter so it is harder to back up and it does not have cradle bunks so it is harder to load the ski on. I paid $475 for mine which is about what they are going for around here. I was quoted $1200 for a new one but did not really see the need for new.

Check the axle-the older models have a metal axle and they rust bad! Why they did that I do not know ...everything else on the trailer was aluminum
