Does anyone have a current status of jellyfish around Shark Tooth's Island, Coles Point area?

Trying to decide if we're heading south or north today.

Thanks,

Mike

Jim,

Thanks. I had checked that site, but it looked like it hadn't been updated since 7/26.

After a quick time check, I think we're heading north to DC instead which was our original plan, and then we'll hop in the water on the way back near home.

As an FYI, we saw lots floating in St. Michael's yesterday.

Was at Tilghman Island Knapps Narrows Marina for 4 days until Sun. morning and there were plenty of jellyfish in the marina. Didn't see as many on the way back up to Sandy Point in the open water, but they were in the narrows and anyhwere we looked down there.

I was out on the water this afternoon as well, Mike. Came in around 7:00pm. Looked for you but I have no idea what I was looking for (no pic of boat in your sig)

Bill,

Good point on the pic issue. I just tried to add one (need to get some better ones).

We got back to the Occoquan around 4:30 or so and stayed anchored out by Mason Neck State Park (buoy number 2 ) until around 6. Hope we can catch up soon.

Of course my current sig pic is of a boat that's kept about 560 miles from here. Not much help to you.

Bill, I think that you used to have a picture of your big boat on your profile, and if I'm not mistaken, it's very similar to my slip neighbor's that moved over to my marina.

Nice boat pic Mike! FYI, I retired from 34 years of the corporate world last week. Unemployed for the first time since I was 14 years old in 1972. Plenty of boating time now - oh crap, I have a new full time job fixing up the house for sale.

Bill, thank you. I think it was taken in your marina!

Congratulations! I'd like to join you, but I have a minimum of at least 2 more years. You're also ahead of me with the retirement house down south.

I sure you hope you get more boating time out of retirement! I'm sure you will.

Now you just need to find a bigger salt water boat.

Mike
