I usually see him parading around Constitution avenue near the whitehouse. The tourists point and take pictures, the professional women mostly give faces of disgust. Others seem not to notice. Today I saw him in Chantilly VA. He must be off his route because of the government shutdown.

Without getting too political, what do you think?

This is DC. We see all sorts of people trying to "share" their opinions.
People can say what they want as long so it doesn't infringe upon someone else's rights.

With that said..
Shutdown has already cost my business approximately $25k. If it goes another week it will cost us an additional $10k. (Canceled/delayed govt contracts on a T&M contract)
The Affordable Care Act (aka ObamaCare) has cost us nothing.

But forget politics. Let's get back to boating!

I've heard it said "every child born in the US is $60,000 in debt".

We probably need a real debt standoff, not a theatrical...

I hope he dosent use a HONDA generator.

He's got more "you know what" than I have to ride about in that:)

Who said this about the "shutdown"?

"If the borrowing limit isn't raised, "the whole world will have problems, which is why, generally, nobody's ever thought to actually threaten not to pay our bills,"

Who said this about the "shutdown"?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can't pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. . . . Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that "the buck stops here." Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

um, some guy formerly in the senate that always voted present and was and still is a community organizer....oh, and he's from Chicago, and went to some crazy guy's church and was best friends will Bill Ayers, (terrorist)

Do I win?

I was going to say it, but I don't want them to label me a racist.

Do I win?

You do, and Don what do we have for our winner?

Well Johnny, this deluxe prize package starts with massive unemployment offset by 99 weeks unemployment payments. It also includes enormous energy price hikes but all that pales compared to the unfathomable debt our nation must repay.

So enjoy it while you can...

And congratulations to all our players...

I saw the 60 minutes piece. Un freakin real.

The lawyers & judges (who are not benefitting in any way ;-) ), involved basically laughing about it because technically it's all legal. Including the part that the same doctor makes house calls to evaluate "patients" IN THE LAWYERS OFFICE! I think they said 18 approvals in one day!
