Well almost - Barry is forecasted to be a hurricane right before it goes ashore.
No impact where we are - but still glad I got my hurricane plans in place earlier. One of those things I hope we don't have to go through, but as ready as we can be (unless I think of something else).
Heard a news story earlier about New Orleans area. When Katrina came in the river level (Mississippi) was 12-13 foot lower than it is right now. 4 ft storm surge would over top the levees.
Those on the upper gulf coast stay safe.
