Just been busy with life. Been training a new first mate, we bought a new to us RV(I've never done RV's, she has helped her parents in theirs), in a campground on the lake, with a great ramp(and a horrible dock) so we're out on the water every chance we can get. So, between getting used to the new first mate, and the new RV, haven't had a lot of time for here. We've made a lot of good memories out on the water this past year. Had a slight accident after the fireworks on July 3, as we were packing up, she was trying to help and put the seat down, I was climbing by it with the stern anchor in my hands getting ready to stow it up front, and I was using the seat to steady myself, when it went down, so did I, with the anchor smashing against my ribs. I'm pretty sure I cracked a couple ribs. It knocked the wind out of me pretty bad,and for about 8 weeks, it hurt to breath in deep. She was mortified. I told her it wasn't her fault, then on the way home after that, my sea ray cap blew off, and I was in so much pain, I didn't turn around to get it - I'm sure I would have found it, it was one of the white ones. She was so upset, she bought me one to replace it later. I didn't even ride my Motorcycle much last summer, maybe put 1500 miles on it. before that, I was up in the 5000-6500 mile range in a season.
Can't wait to get back to camp and back out on the water with the first mate!
