Well, it looks a little better now. Perhaps next week, we may actually hit 70 degrees. All the trees still look like they are dead, and the grass for the most part is still dormant. My wife is leaving the house right now dressed up like it is the dead of winter, but I digress.

The signs are there though, the boat is going in the water Friday or Sat. depending on whether the bottom paint dries. I switched from Hydrocoat to Interlux Micron CSC with Biolux. Will it solve my slime issues? We'll see.

Destiny turns 11 this year. Finally got the polishing done, and de-winterizing done. Let the fun commence!

I really like how far apart your stored... That would make working on your boat a lot easier

We are right up against each other and pulpit over swim platform... I'm not touching the beam but should be... On other side 2" from my neighbor

They used to really stack them in the building, but after several boats were damaged, they re-thought that practice. The extra room really helps. My pulpit is over the platform of the boat in front, but I have plenty of room on the sides to polish.

I posted a pic above... It's a shame we have to damage boats to change something no one likes in the first place.

That shine looks really nice. Not what one would expect from a 11 year old boat.

Almost hit 80 here today, no wind, nice blue skies with a few clouds and <SNIFF><SNIFF> my boat is in Portland.

Not to stir up past post but is this BMH indoor heated? I used to use them indoor but then I was unable to open my hatch cause the boats anchor behind me prevented that..it was literally 2” above the transom, I stopped using them the follow year. I also had to have my detail guy come back after they pulled me so he could finish the hull where he couldn’t reach.

I’d still use them for indoor heated if they provided the space to actually work on your boat.

No not BMH.

The weather is finally turning the corner. My Knot Shore is turning 29 . I been running her the last 25 years. I' am splashing next Wednesday. Always a bitter sweet day, as I lost my wife to cancer 6 years ago, May 1. But I'll raise my glass to salute her, the boat and a beginning of a new season.
Good luck ...Cheers
