According to an item on my Fox News feed our country is about to take a turn for the better. An article entitled "Gen Z students dramatically threaten to leave country, change schools over Roe overturning: 'Really Scary'"

According to one student, "I have a lot of mixed feelings, rage, fear, disappointment....Most of all though, I have a hard time coming to terms with the fact that this is the United States now....it's a really scary time to live here,".

Yup, she's definitely right. It all makes sense to me. I mean, given the choices of packing up and leaving the country, or keeping your legs together, or using birth control, or just practicing abstinence, I think she should leave. NOW. GTFO. Don't let the door hit you in the ass!


Personally, while I have a hard time getting beyond the theatrics, I would encourage as many of them as possible to pack their bags and head out. IMHO, that would make the good ol' USA a better place for the rest of us.
 
Problem is we have 2.4M/yr coming into the country illegally….. that’s a lot of Gen Z’s to get rid of just to stay even
 
This is sad.

The taxpayer provided public education system is partly to blame. They are now openly telling us that we, as parents, do not have control over our kids. They do….the government. Teachers have scared our kids to death (literally) For instance but not limited to;

- The world is ending from global warming.(10 years)

- Abortion is a death to democracy (even though we’re a Constitutional Republic)

- Capitalism is oppressive and socialism is the answer, because socialism hasn’t been tried correctly yet.

- The US is the most hateful and racist nation on earth because of its past.

- Christianity is fascism

- Fascism is anything that I disagree with.

- We will die if we don’t comply with our government. (Covid, masks, shutdowns)

- Freedom of speech is oppressive and only certain words should be used.

- Government knows better but only if it’s the government I voted for. Otherwise destroy, resist and obstruct.

- Our team won the election so your Bill of Rights do not apply ( ignorant democracy argument vs. a Constitutional Republic )

- The nuclear family is oppressive and is not inclusive.


That’s the thing now. If you go to a taxpayer provided public school system, you’re going to be taught that “Government” is cool…..but, of course, only the korrekt Government. God forbid you get a Reagan or Trump. There’s no civics class or US history. If there is US history, it whitewashes the damage that Democrats have done to this country for a century and a half. Hell, you’d think it was the Republicans that fought “for”slavery and Abe Lincoln was a Democrat. As a matter of fact, Abe Lincoln’s painting is at the DNC headquarters in Washington. o_O When I mentioned 1984 on the monument tear down thread, we’re living it. The Ministry of Truth.

Edit - In regards to Civics - ask anyone under 30 if they understand their Bill of Rights, what a Constitutional Republic is, and how Federalism works. There’s supposed retired professors on here that don’t understand our form of government.

Agree with all the above. This country is going the wrong way fast. I'm forced to live in my own bubble and ignore it all.

Pirate, typically I love what you say. I think we are about the same age. There is a huge difference between you mom getting knocked up and married to your dad, now we are rewarding woman to get knocked up and not get married, in fact have a lot more so we can buy you. How much does a single woman get per child?

We have a girl here in town that has 17 kids and has never had a job. She played the system and when Covid relief funds hit she was making bank. She popped out a kid about every 10 months. A few of her kids have been arrested for attempted homicide and I think all have been arrested for drugs
 
When/if your gen z's bolt, point them south or put them in a boat. We have enough of our own problems up here.
 
I agree Almightys, As I said in post #7, my boat is included in my bubble. The rest of the comments can be more noticed on Twitter or what ever social media site you want. Maby its just me being a senior and wanting to enjoy whats left.

Al theatricals have always been there the only different 30 yrs. ago it didn't make to the evening news on the TV because of cost of Air time it was a waste of money but because of the Internet we hear all this dumb shit.
