Hey guys,
A few weeks ago I inspected my Bravo 3 outdrive.
Because I had some issues with corrosion on my drive I had special interest in my
Mercathode system.
So the first thing I want to know if my Mercathode system was working fine.
When the boat was in the water I had a reading of 700 mvolt with my mercathode sensor in the water. That is nearly enough for a full production. (it must be in the range of 1000mv??)
My blue controller was having the 12Volt reading so that is ok.
So maybe the mercathode sensor is bad?
I took a picture of the mercathode sensor, but I want to know if you guys can give me a conformation that it is really the sensor what I see.
The picture is taking from the ground of. (maybe difficult to see?)
p.s. The outdrive is having new bellows next season by my dealer, and I am wondering if it is a good idea to replaced the mercathode sensor also.
Thanks for your help.
