Is there a discount on boat loans if it a liveaboard?

just wondering if there is a discount on boat loans if the boat is used as a live aboard?(florida )
also insurance?

Steve, if your talking about lower interest I do not think it would affect a traditional boat loan. If you own property you could mortgage it for a more competitive rate or consider borrowing against retirement funds but I think that's about it.

Most marine lenders will not loan money on a full time live aboard at all.
