Hello,
I want to install an in-hull fishfinder transducer in the bilge (engine room) of a 2001 Searay 310 Sundancer. Does anybody know if the hull is made of solid fiberglass? (VIN=SERT). According to the installation instructions, the transducer should be mounted in a place where no coring, flotation material, or dead air space is sandwiched between the inside skin and outer skin of the hull. Ideally, it should be mounted well ahead of the propellers and shafts, close to the centerline, so do you know if the hull at that area is made of solid fiberglass?
Thanks
