Is one batt for start & the other for house? 97 250 DA

I have a battery switch and on one of the positions the engine will not start but the batt shows good voltage. Are they seperate on this model of boat? (house & engine)

If I place it on "BOTH" I assume the engine will charge both?

Yes.

Mine is setup as 1 is starting batt 2 is house batt, when underway its on all

Just a heads up, DON"T ever turn the switch off while the engine is running. :smt021

I did and it cost me a $150 alternator to find that out. :smt089
