It's probably worth it if you are inclined to do most of the restore work yourself, and are willing to be creative in sourcing parts. The trailer alone is probably worth the asking price. I paid $1900 for mine a few years ago, and have had a lot of fun restoring it.

Thats probably about right. Too many unknowns here. Is the hull sound? Gelcoat? Can the motor & outdrive be repaired or must they be replaced?

If I was buying I would have to assume the worst and prepare for that until proven otherwise. And I'd definately not pay more.

We just went through the same decision making process for the 2nd time in the past 10 yrs.
As said above, the hull and decking need to be sound before even considering anything else. Have the hull tested if not too costly, and figure the engine(s) and outdrive(s) will require rebuild unless already done.
As for the engine figure $2500 - $3000 for the rebuild + cost to remove and replace, and another thousand for the drive.

All depends on what you're looking for and how long you plan to keep her. One thing I can tell you is once you get into staying on the boat and enjoying the cabin, you will want to move up. We started with a 21' cuddy, 24' cruiser, and just made the jump to a 36' with 14' beam. It's addicitive for sure!!!

Good luck and ENJOY!!!

Thanks for all the help guys. I got the guy to drop the price to 600 because it was left in his storage unit and he doesnt want it anymore. He said it was running when they put it here. So i guess that was 6 years ago.
