Is it just me or Whats up with this.

Diplomacy is a horrible thing. Better just to get a military strategy going asap before we lose a good amount of respect around the world.

Diplomacy only works when you are able to project power through a strong military and can back up your dialogue. It is really "peaceful war." Not sure BOH gets it.

We have a strong military. Shall we try some diplomacy?

Give him enough time and we will no longer have a strong military. Remember, those SEALS were not trained by the current administration and if I recall the president was not in support of the SEALS action, but he did go along with the plan. If Washington does not wake up SOON, we will be/are laughed at around the world and our military strength will not scare anyone.

You know what?????

If he cured cancer made you millions, Payed all your bills
President Obama couldn't make you happy or many others here. If he's democrat he'd be wrong.

Bush was no prize and neither is
President Obama But he has done some good.

You all sound like Rush what's his name. Tea Parties
C' mon you can do better than that.

lol

Witch

why do you xxxxxxxxx act like those were the first TEA Party events? We had several here in my area during the Bush Administration. No one in the press was calling them tea bag or defending President Bush at the time!

Firstly, I want to the thank you, Witch for your service and sacrifice to this country. Nothing can repay you for your service. Respectfully, however, I am a veteran as well, and I disagree with your opinion. Chavez has made MANY disparaging remarks against our country and I do not believe that he has earned the right to sit down on the other side of the table from our president, regardless of the party.

I disagree with a lot of things this administration is doing and the last one did as well. On top of that, I chose to serve for a country which encourages self determination, not a socialist form of government.

i thought he got it pretty well when he released the seals to take out thr pirates if they felt the captain was in imminent danger in the lifeboat.

Unfortunately, he is the leader of that country and it is time we talk to him and some of the others who are fringe leaders.

I see no reason why two human beings cant sit down and at least discuss differences and perhaps find some common ground.

It is worth a shot.

:smt021Great idea, let's find Bin Laden and sit down and have a talk to find common ground.:smt021

Sure, but it only works if you have a strong military and the countries you are talking to think you might use it. He's not very credible on the second condition, and his policies will likely undercut our ability to project force in the future.

Where is the rolling eye emoticon?

I think its a tiny bit different between someone who launched an actual attack on us vs. rhetoric.

But ya go ahead and keep that head in the warm sand :)

We are so spread thin, I dont think I would be afraid right now, but the reasons for that are due to past decisions, not present ones.

I seem to remember a lot of "rhetoric" during the slick willy days with a bimbo under the desk that led up to the actual attack. Nothing good can come from rhetoric with a terrorist IMO.

Chavez is a terrorist?

Your right, lets just bomb whoever we want. THAT will get our country respect again. Get the war machines warmed up.

All hail the glorious republic.
